Roughly a month ago I came down with sickness. Still; I went on tour with Shiverpush and managed to work almost daily at my daytime job. The sad thing about this; it seems I got some kind of virus to my vocal cords. This means I can not sing at all for the moment. It is kind of a drag not be able to lift my hands to the sky and cry my heart out to holy one. But, slowly, little by little, I am recovering and get my vocal health back.

Back in 14th of november I finalized the vocal melodies for my solo stuff. I listened to the demos today and I must say; I only did minor changes; most of it was really good. Still; one of the songs might end up with a vocal in a higher pitch or maybe growl. We will see!

Sometimes you ran to fast, hitting a wall. You never sit down and lean back, let go and release, in order to get back in line; to get back your strength and kick off your shoes. Well; I am not good at take time off from all the things I must do and all the things I want to achieve. So the latest week, my body got sick. It is nothing serious, just a cold. So right now I have lost my voice and can not sing. This forces me to rest and not accompany others. This sickness started a week ago, meaning I performed the two shows with Shiverpush sick. Now I have two days off from work and I have cancelled all appointments just to stay in silence, drink tea and honey and rest. And to get back on track.
In the silence I have spent time reading the backstory of Ken Tamplin and the hardships and miracles of his life. And I was moved to tears. Seems like this sickness is a cloud with a silver lining. And his words also told me to not give up or lay down; God is always there with his power. He wants to lead us, take us by our hand. Come, he says. Come with me.

Today I finished writing the vocal lines for the songs in pipeline under my name. Now it is time to pracice! I hope and pray this will work out just fine!
