New Gear (Ampeg)

 As mentioned elsewhere I am a official member of Shiverpush as well. There are some liveshows coming ahead and a new setup in the rehearsal room. I needed to move ahead and change my setup. Well; I went to a old style musicstore in Helsingborg, Beme Music and tested out some amps. My decision was Ampeg, a small combo. Let us hope this is good enough for now. And all the know-how I am learning in Shiverpush, spills over to Daevidius as well. Only God know what the future holds in store for us all.

Sons of Perelandra - Prestage upcoming singles - Bass

Today I finished the preperation stage regarding bass for two new songs in the Sons of Perelandra project. One of them is instrumental and the other one is an old one, actually meant for the early stages of Daevidius. We picked it up for this project. You know; there are many good songs never released.

Prayers

In my pipeline there is always something going on. In my head and in my plans I had plans of an album with prayers to alter my life. These lyrics are mainly for myself.  Tonight some of them were archived and some of them got new chords. No arrangements at this point; I pray and hope there will be room for some collaborations with other musicians. It is really inspiring!

David Bengtsson - Bass Sessions

What a glorious day it became! I had a day off from work; a planned one and I just finished recording bass for 3 (!) upncoming singles, hopefully some it will be released this year. And despite the fact it was kind of tricky lines I wrote (sometimes I am kind of angry at myself for writing to difficult stuff), it went down quick and good.

I am right now in the process of writing and recording bass tracks for our upcoming album. I have adapted a new way of recording thus creating a new sound. It will be a blast!

Reboot Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy

My life always has been a kind of living in loops. I am breaking these circles now, but actually sometimes it is good to repeat yourself. So today I just decided to do this.

In several posts on Daevidius blog I have mentioned me educating me more about singing with Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy. I have this year focused on other things and especially the lessons with my vocal coach Ingvar Bengtsson. However; now is the time to pick up the ball and REBOOT. I have decided to retake the course all over and finish the parts I have not yet accomplised.

Why not work overtime on it all?
