Investment in Mindvoice for more sessions

As you all know by now; for almost two years I have attended sessions with Ingvar Bengtsson at Mindvoice. Just the other day I reached 20 sessions with him. And the 20th session was such a blast; I am for sure in a good place and still on my way ahead. Ingvar is a magician making me finding my true voice. And as a confirmation of this I got an offer of discounted session for 20 more sessions. Of course I accepted this and today I transfered the money for this. 

I am in the progress of reaching higher!

Per-Erik Hallin - The lost lyrics

What a revelation I got today! I have been scanning around far and wide on the internet and could not find the all the lyrics for the "Better Late Than Never" album from 1982 by Per-Erik Hallin. Today I was picking out CD:s (yes, CDs) to play in the car (yes, in the car). Why not listen to some gospel, I thought to myself. Then; I thought popped up in my head: "Maybe there is lyrics in the CD Sleeve? Naw, I can not be (since the LP came without lyrics). Well I have to check this out". To my bewilderment and joy; they were printed in there !! It is funny how such a small thing can bring joy. Now I have to write them down for use elsewhere.

Author?

Well... it could be I am on a new path.. Could it be I am becoming a writer? For so many years, still in the making; I have been reading, listening and checking stuff about related to the Faith. Why do not compile all this and in due time publish on across several platforms? I have now for a time; not sure of when I started, but it is all coming together. For the moment being, it is just bits and pieces, nothing more. So stay tuned and be patient of the outcome. There are no time limits or deadlines to this.

Sweden Rock Festival 2026

 

So now it is over! The tradition of spending a week off for Sweden Rock Festival. This years edition was quite good and the best part was spending it with my sons! The main focus is always the music and not the socializing with others; being social is just the icing on the cake. As usual I met some people I have not met for years and it is always joyous meetings. 

So.. see you next year!

Tread upon a new path (songwriting)

Maybe I started to tread upon a new path just couple of weeks ago. Today I finished recording demos for three completly new songs. So; what is new then? Well... if I find a song inspiring, I use the form of the song to create new lyrics. Then I just invent a new songmelody and just rock out to my favorite song. And believe it or not; there I have it! 

So the formula is simple:

• Find a song I dig
• Find out the form and the lyrics
• Base new lyrics and new chords on that form
• Play around with it
• Practice and try out the lyrics and the form with chords
• Record demo with just vocals and acoustic guitar

Easy, right?

I am now sending the demos to people I trust to see what they say.

Studio - Recording vocals (forward and upward)

Having a day off; what a thrill! Never I thought I could work through all of the vocal sessions for David Bengtsson this day. I started off working on the tracks for Daevidius and to my joy I managed to finish them as well as David Bengtsson. Some of them are in demo status and some are almost complete. This will be really good. It is nice to come back to songs recorded a few months ago and realize this is good.

Edition 12, 13 & 14 in my vocal warmup

Do not ask me why it us edition 13 of my vocal warmup; I actually do not know. Could it really be that many different editions? Anyway; since november last year, the progress of getting a better voice is strongly on the rise. One step in this is the latest development; standing on my own and warming up with just a piano. More and more I just put aside the internet resources and learn new scales and new methods. 

The latest edition is for me when I am about to record vocals in the studio. I now have added a piece from Lisa Witt Singeo "7 days to a beautiful voice", since I noted how much this little bits and tricks added to my performance when I sing. Back in March this year, just a month ago, I started out this course; must say it really added to me singing more beautiful.

This will be a blast!

The greatest time of the year is at hand! Easter is here; the days when a new beginning is about to start. Life comes back to us in the original first months of lifetime. And these days we remember and stand in awe of Jesus Christ. Yeshua; you saved me and I am forever grateful. I need you know!

The next step up into the sky completed! Today I collected a Kemper Profiler! It is used but nearly in mint condition. The deal was good and maybe I got a new friend as a result? This will be awesome! So excited and thrilled! Let the recordings reboot!

7 Days to a beautiful voice - Day 1

Today was the kickoff for yet another adventure. Well not that much of an adventure really, but still. I embarked on a new, could be a really important, step in my journey as a vocalist. There is a resource online, Singeo, with Lisa Witt. I decided a while ago to try out one of her free resources. So today was the first day on "7 Days to a beautiful voice". One of the major things in this is me for the first time, record myself when I practice. And I must say it was about time. It is interesting to sing a song you hardly know and then, five minutes later, record a version of it. I find it hard to believe my voice and singing will change in just a couple of days, but hey; why not try?

Orthopedic Corset

Well; as many posts mentioned, I am in full attention to my voice. One of the elements in a good and sustianable voice is posture. One of my issues is just bad posture. So I thought to myself; why not order an ortopedic corset? So, I did. Got it yesterday and today I started using it. I used it for just two hours and strangely enough; it was quite challening for the body. This will be just another step to a greater level.

Updated routine vokalist

For quite some time, at least a couple of weeks, I have been busy with upgrading my routine for making my voice grow as well as maintain it. As earlier mentioned, I kind of almost lost my voice in november due to a severe cold and no time to rest. This has since then been adressed and today i finished a new way to take care of my voice. I now have new moments and techniques implemented and tested. It is a kind of well balanced and I am pleased. Now, it is time to grow and leave fear of failing and take my place as a son of God.

Guitarist?

There has always been a question about who's playing the guitar parts on all my publications. Even so now. However; the personal issues with fear and not believing in my own capability, earlier made sure, I always had others doing this for me. But whatabout now? Why not perform more of the tasks by myself? The guitar was there in the stand. So I picked it up and started exercise. And it was fun! And I was so much better than expected! Wonderous; just have to practice and record!
